Inside Waco

The stand off between authorities and the religious cult in Waco, Texas, was one of the longest stand offs in American history. Using a moment by moment account of audio recording between the FBI negotiators and the Branch Dravidians inside the compound, a dramatic first hand account of 51 days of negotiations revales what the lead FBI negotiator has described as 'one of the biggest failures of law enforcement in American history'. FBI negotiators attempt to secure the release of over a hundred people, many of them women and children, from inside a compound controlled by cult leader, David Koresh. With negotiations grinding to a halt, the authorities attempt the use of tear gas to force the cult members out - with catastrophic consequences.
