Locked Up Abroad

I directed two episodes of this cult drama-doc series, largely because I enjoyed watching them, and wanted to find out how they were made. One was filmed in Trinidad, telling the chilling story of how a British couple who travelled to the Caribbean in search of a job, ended up spending 18 months in a Guadeloupe prison - and another in Uruguay, where a hapless Australian's bid to smuggle gold led to incarceration in an Argentinian prison.
