Stoned In Suburbia

Stoned In Suburbia was described as a ‘social history film, examining the change in people's opinions to cannabis over the past 50 years’, but it felt a lot more humorous than that and has attracted something of a cult following. The original idea was to examine the role of cannabis in middle class Britain, but it turned into a mini road trip with (the late and lovely) Howard Marks, visiting grandmothers arranging cannabis parties in Surrey and head teachers growing their own weed under hydroponic lights in South Wales. Still being broadcast over ten years later.
